The Governing Body is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, and highly motivated teaching assistant who is committed to the well-being of our learners and to our Catholic ethos and will challenge and inspire them to ‘love, grow, believe and achieve’ in all they do. The post is for a Level 1 teaching assistant and is temporary for 1 year to work with younger and older children within the school and support a child with medical needs. Required for September for 35 hours a week.
The successful candidate will be:
• positive, patient and caring;
• flexible and friendly;
• hardworking;
• keen to be part of a team;
• willing to support the Catholic ethos of our school;
• willing to become involved in the wider life of the school and parish.

This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
This salary is subject to the Living Wage supplement which brings pay rates up to £12 per hour (scp 2 - 4). This supplement will be reviewed in January 2024 and thereafter annually in April. Cardiff Council reserves the right to make any changes to, or removal of, the Living Wage supplement.

Requests may only be approved by the relevant Chief Officer or senior nominated officer graded no lower than OM2 or in the case of schools based staff the Headteacher / Governing Body.
