Summary
Part time Level 3 Teaching AssistantThe Governors at Southwold Primary School are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and dedicated part time Key Stage 2 Level 3 Teaching Assistant, to join our thriving and successful staff.This position is for 2 days per week – Monday and Tuesday. This is initially for a one year contract.Your key duties will be:
To support all pupils to participate in learning activities to support pupils to participate and progress
Contribute to the planning and evaluation of teaching and learning activities
Support pupils by having an awareness of individual needs, learning targets, and the relevant support required to assist pupils’ development
Contribute to the implementation of an effective behaviour management strategy
Provide literacy and numeracy support to individuals and groups to enable them to access the wider curriculum, whilst monitoring progress and dealing with challenges as they arise
Cover half a days Preparation, Planning and Assessment time in classIn return, we offer:
