About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Interim Senior Leader to join our dedicated leadership team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educational leader to make a significant impact during a period of transition and development. As an Interim Senior Leader, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of teaching and learning, supporting staff and students, and contributing to the strategic direction of the school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management across the school.
  • Lead on specific areas such as curriculum development, pastoral care, behaviour, or teaching and learning (depending on experience and school needs).
  • Support and challenge middle leaders to drive improvement and raise standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate school performance data to inform planning and interventions.
  • Ensure safeguarding and wellbeing of all students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that promotes high expectations and achievement.


Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and substantial teaching experience in a secondary setting.
  • Proven track record of successful leadership at middle or senior level.
  • Strong understanding of school improvement strategies and curriculum leadership.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate and support staff and students.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
