Summary

HGV Technician (Knighton)

Location: shropshire
Basic Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday Day Shifts and Lates,
Extras: Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate, ongoing brand and systems training, progression opportunities, 25 days holiday + bank holidays (increasing after 2 years), pension scheme, private health insurance

Key Responsibilities of an HGV Technician

• Carry out routine maintenance on vehicles to VOSA standards
• Prepare and present vehicles and trailers for MOT inspections
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately

Skills and Qualifications for an HGV Technician
Essential

• Level 3/4 or City & Guilds/NVQ qualified HGV Technician
• Full UK driving licence
• Diagnostic experience

Desirable

• HGV licence
