Summary

To support the Senior Officers to deliver departmental policies and projects. To ensure all information and data to and from the Education and Skills Funding Agency, relevant awarding bodies and the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) is accurate and robust.

Monitor information on Post-16 provision, including Adult Education and Employment Support projects delivered by CW&C’s Skills and Employment team and reported through the ILR and MHCLG Delta system. Analyse progression, completion and achievement rates by participants across the CW&C area.

Monitor information on progression into employment, apprenticeship and other Post-16 programmes and share with education team, identifying any trends and underperformance.

Monitor the types and levels of provision being taken up by CW&C residents, including subcontracted provision to ascertain whether there is a change in the balance and mix of provision in line with sector priorities identified through the council’s analysis, identifying any gaps in provision should they exist. Report on these findings in line with funding outputs and outcomes.

The successful candidate will be expected to work from any of our four Skills and Employment Hubs across the borough. To support the Senior Officers to deliver departmental policies and projects.
