We are looking for a part time Student and Graduate Talent Administrator to join our busy Student and Graduate Talent Team. You’ll support our employer partners and internship students, administer the UWE Internship Scheme, organise employability events and other work based learning opportunities.
As well as being the first point of contact for employer partners, you’ll get to provide guidance to academics, and other professional services staff, so great communication skills and relationship building skills will really help you excel within this role. As you may work across a variety of teams within the service, you’ll be a team player with a focus on collaborating to solve issues. You’ll have excellent organisation and administration skills, including, but not limited to the ability to produce reports, respond to emails, book appointments, keep internal records accurate and up to date and support with the production of online resources for students. All these skills mean that your attention to detail needs to be outstanding.
About you
To succeed in this role you should be able to demonstrate the following essential experience:
• Broad administrative based experience in a complex and busy office environment.
• Excellent IT skills, with strong experience of MS Office Outlook, Word, Excel and data base systems
• Working across different teams to share information and best practice to achieve tasks.
• Have strong co-ordination, organisation and prioritisation skills.
• Experience of communicating with a variety of internal staff members and external clients using different methods (E.g. phone, email and face to face)
• Experience of working with confidential information and able to work sensitively when dealing with issues.
