Summary

What you’ll be doing:

Southdown is one of the leading providers of mental health services in Sussex. Staying Well is our innovative out of hours crisis mental health service which supports clients experiencing a mental health crisis. Staying Well provides crisis intervention to increase resilience and coping skills, empowering clients to safely manage their wellbeing within the community. We are open 7 days a week, (including bank holidays), from 5pm on weekdays and 3pm at the weekend.

As a Coordinator for our Staying Well team, you’ll support the Team Manager with the day to day running of the service, ensuring the overall quality of the service and that it meets its stated objectives. You’ll provide line management and supervision to Peer Workers, and liaise with multi-agency partners around referrals, risks, reporting and documentation.

This role would suit someone who wants to hone their managerial skills and work autonomously. It provides an opportunity for you to widen your experience in supporting people with a wide range of mental health challenges.

If you are passionate about contributing to the development of our innovative community mental health services, we’d love to hear from you. We welcome applications from candidates with previous experience such as Support Worker, Team Leader, Team Manager, Service Coordinator, Deputy Manager, Care Coordinator, or Mental Health Specialist.
