Summary
Are you an experienced legal adviser looking to embrace a new challenge? We have a new opportunity to join our Legal Services team !
What you'll be doing
· Provide expert advice and casework on a wide range of education law issues through our legal help and legal aid services.
· Supervise and manage a team of caseworkers, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
· Support our mission of empowering individuals with the knowledge of their rights and responsibilities to improve their quality of life.
· Offer guidance and support to staff and volunteers, fostering a collaborative environment for client support.
What We’re Looking For
· At least 2 years of proven legal advice, casework, and advocacy experience in education law.
· The ability to meet the Legal Aid Agency Supervisor Standard in the Education category, including both legal competency and case involvement standards.
· Comprehensive knowledge of court and tribunal processes, with demonstrable experience in advocacy to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
· Exceptional communication skills to articulate complex legal information clearly and effectively.
· A proven ability to maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and clients.
· Strong organisational and time management skills to handle a diverse and dynamic workload.
· A clear understanding of the legal aid system, including conducting cases under both legal help and legal aid funding.
