Summary
University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is delighted to offer a fantastic opportunity to work with us.
Please see below for detailed job description of the role.
We are looking for new team members to join the Paediatric Long Term Ventilation service at University Hospitals Trust Southampton. We have two band 6 vacancies, and are open to applicants with physiology, nursing or physiotherapy backgrounds. Experience in long term ventilation, non-invasive ventilation and/or sleep analysis is essential
The successful candidates will work as part of the established MDT at a time of exciting change. Due to the rapid growth of our patient cohort, we are currently re-structuring and developing the LTV service into two streams; Sleep Disordered Breathing NIV and Long-Term Complex Ventilation.
The band 6 posts will involve working autonomously with children and families on the ward, in clinics and in the community. Due to the geographical location of our patients access to a car is essential for community outreach care.
Our caseload consists of patients that have chronic conditions who may also be acutely unwell, so we are looking for applicants who have experience working in challenging and emotive situations with active coping strategies and resilience.
The successful applicants must have a definite desire to work within the speciality, with motivation to drive forward service improvements.

We believe that using technology wisely shows strong time management and commitment to innovation. However, personalizing your recruitment application to highlight your unique skills and experiences is crucial. Relying too heavily on generic, AI-generated content instead of drawing from your own strengths and accomplishments may lead to your application being rejected if multiple candidates present identical or similar information.
