As a Theatre/Endoscopy Administrator at our hospital, you'll bring a keen eye for detail, strong secretarial skills and great communication abilities. You're proficient with Microsoft Office, comfortable working with numbers and you're committed to providing our teams with the best level of support. That's why we're looking for someone who brings a blend of strong administration skills and a passion for exceptional customer care to join us.
As a Theatre/Endoscopy Administrator you will:
- Receiving booking forms and stamping a date of receipt on it, entering patients' names in our ward diary (appropriate staggering of endoscopy patients). This will be explained to the post holder by a Lead endoscopy nurse
- Maintaining cancellation tracker
- Receiving phone calls from our patients and leaving a message for the nurses
- Emailing secretaries to request a new booking form if patient's appointment date was changed
- Photocopying ward templates
- Preparing the notes for the lists (making packs, printing and placing patient's labels on blank templates, printing patients' wristbands), requesting notes, sending the notes of all cancelled patients away to the business office for tracking
- Filing paperwork away and returning used notes to the business office
- Changing list orders on request using PIMs
- Patient discharges on PIMs
- Maintaining POA lists (arrivals and discharges)
- Overlooking dates for departmental visits
- Liaising with the bookings team
