We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 5 Teacher to join a supportive and dedicated Key Stage 2 team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a vibrant primary setting where children are enthusiastic and eager to learn.

Duties as a Year 5 Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum

  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment where every child can thrive

  • Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress in a clear and effective manner

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure strong pupil outcomes

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment opportunities and events

Ideal Year 5 Teacher:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Has strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and effective classroom strategies

  • Is reflective, organised, and committed to high standards of teaching and learning

  • Builds strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents as a Year 5 Teacher.

  • Has a passion for making learning enjoyable and meaningful
