We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 5 Teacher to join a supportive and dedicated Key Stage 2 team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a vibrant primary setting where children are enthusiastic and eager to learn.
Duties as a Year 5 Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment where every child can thrive
Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress in a clear and effective manner
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure strong pupil outcomes
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment opportunities and events
Ideal Year 5 Teacher:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and effective classroom strategies
Is reflective, organised, and committed to high standards of teaching and learning
Builds strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents as a Year 5 Teacher.
Has a passion for making learning enjoyable and meaningful
