Summary
We are seeking a creative, organised, and proactive Art Technician to support the Art & Design department from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for the arts and a keen interest in supporting teaching and learning in a dynamic secondary school environment.
Duties as Art Technician:
Prepare, organise, and maintain materials, tools, and resources for lessons
Support staff and students during practical art sessions
Ensure art rooms and equipment are kept clean, safe, and well-stocked
Assist in the preparation and display of student artwork around the school
Help manage stock levels and place orders for materials as required
Provide occasional administrative support to the department
Ideal Art Technician:
Have a background in Art, Design, or a related field
Be well-organised, practical, and able to work independently
Have good communication skills and enjoy working with young people
Demonstrate a proactive and flexible approach to work as Art Technician.
Understand the importance of health and safety in a practical classroom environment
