Are you an IT professional looking to make a real impact in education?

We're looking for a Technology Support Officer (TSO) to join our North London team, supporting three schools. This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with staff and students to embed technology into school life, ensuring a smooth and innovative digital experience for all.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing frontline IT support to staff and students, ensuring they can use technology confidently.
  • Managing and maintaining devices, software, and cloud-based systems to keep everything running smoothly.
  • Supporting exciting new projects, including our move to serverless computing - helping shape a cloud-first future.
  • Working alongside Technicians and reporting to the Team Leader to deliver outstanding IT service.
  • Leading training sessions and providing guidance to colleagues, ensuring they get the most from our tech.
  • Regular travel between schools when required.

What we're looking for

  • Experience in a similar IT support role - particularly in customer service, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
  • A personable and proactive approach - you'll need confidence and great communication skills to work across different teams.
  • Google certifications (e.g. Google Certified Educator), CompTIA, Microsoft certifications, or ITIL Foundation are all desirable but not essential.

Why join our Technology team?

  • Be part of a forward-thinking team driving innovation in technology across schools.
  • Work within a supportive IT team.
  • Access to Lift Schools' extensive training and development opportunities to enhance your skills.
  • A role where your work directly supports education and transforms learning experiences.

You will be based at Aylward Academy, and you will be expected to visit and work closely with our two other local schools - Trinity Primary Academy and Noel Park Primary School. There will also be opportunities to travel to other sites within the trust and educational events held around the country.

The role is due to commence as soon as possible.

Closing date: 20 June 2025
