Westy Hall Care Home in Warrington is home to well trained and helpful staff with rooms for up to 42 residents. We pride ourselves in providing 24-hour care and specialised services for older people, the beauty of our grounds, the quality of our catering and our engaging activities we deliver.
As a Night Senior Care Assistant you will provide person centred care and support to assist residents to maintain their independence including personal care, mealtimes, and activities whilst also providing a listening ear to those who need it most. You will also be responsible for dispensing medication and using your management skills to ensure a high level of quality care is being delivered.

Essential Skills

An NVQ2 is essential but must be willing to work towards an NVQ3
Medication administration expereince essential for this role
Proven supervisory experience in a care setting
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
Expertise in developing and implementing care plans
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with staff, residents, and families
Familiarity with senior care practices and care home environments
Basic IT skills to manage documentation and communication effectively
Key Responsibilities

Helping our residents with personal support and care.
Administration and monitoring of medications to residents.
Maintaining care plans
Support in training and supervision of junior and new staff members in all aspects of their work in the care centre, under the supervision of senior staff members
Assist service users in all aspects of their care needs (e.g. physical, emotional and spiritual). Provide attention when needed whilst ensuring service users retain their comfort and dignity.
Carry out regular checks on service users at intervals determined by senior staff members.
