Summary
Class 1 Tramper Driver
Permanent. £14-17.00 per hour plus overnight payments of £25 per night; Monday to Friday out of Doncaster
We are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Tramper driver for our client based in Sandtoft . The work is Flatbed, delivering blue large water pipes to customers throughout the UK. Drops will vary, but include lots of face to face customer contact
To be considered for the role of the Class 1 Tramper Driver you will need:
• Class 1 HGV licence and 12 months experience in the UK.
• Excellent customer services manner as you will have lots of face to face customer contact.
• You must have excellent understand of the working time directive and drivers regs.
• Full in-date CPC and digi-tacho.
• You will not be considered if you have more than 6 points on your licence (No DR, DD or IN codes).
Benefits of the Class 1 Tramper Driver position include:
Salary / payrate: £14-17 per hour
Overnight allowances: £25p/night
Working Hours: Core hours are 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday, but you will probably start much earlier
Holidays: 20 days plus Christmas shutdown plus stats (this increases up to 25 plus Christmas plus stats)
Health care, life assurance, pension: Benenden Health Care, death in service at 2x salary and NEST pension
Environment: Manufacture and supply of civil engineering pipeline, solid order book and growth potential
