Benefits Assessor needed in Nuneaton Paying £15.70 per hr ref 5270238
Full time hours on a temporary basis
Key Responsibilities:- Accurately assess new claims and changes in circumstances for Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support.
- Liaise with claimants, landlords, and external agencies to gather necessary information.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and local authority guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records and update systems promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to claimants, explaining decisions clearly and empathetically.
- Identify and report potential fraud or irregularities.
