Summary
Job Overview
We are seeking a part time used Car Salesman to join our well established family business for 1-2 days per week. Being able to work Saturdays 9am-4pm is essential, a second day that suits both parties can be discussed. We currently stock 20-30 cars and sell between 20-30 cars per month. You would be paid commission per sale. We sell 5-15 year old vehicles typically £2000-£10,000 in value.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to deliver good customer service. As a Car Salesman, you will play a pivotal role in guiding customers through the vehicle purchasing process, ensuring they find the perfect car to meet their needs. Your ability to engage with clients, understand their requirements, and provide tailored solutions will be key to your success in this role.
Responsibilities
Engage with customers both in-person and over the phone, providing information about vehicles.
Demonstrate vehicles to potential buyers, highlighting features and benefits.
Maintain an organised sales environment, ensuring all vehicles are presented in excellent condition.
Deal with handing over purchased cars to customers, including taking payments.
Qualifications
Proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably within the automotive industry.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; phone etiquette is essential.
A passion for cars and an understanding of automotive features will enhance your ability to serve customers effectively.
