Summary
Academic Appointments is currently recruiting for SEMH Teachers to work on an ad hoc, flexible basis across a variety of SEN provisions in the Wakefield area. These settings cater to students with SEMH needs who require a nurturing, structured, and therapeutic learning environment.

Essential:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Experience working with SEMH or in alternative/SEN provisions
*Calm, patient and consistent approach to behaviour management
*Strong relationship-building and de-escalation skills
*Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one)

Rate of pay is dependent on current grade, experience and payroll method.
