Summary
Teaching Assistant – Level 3 (Special)
Contract: Permanent
Start Date:To be agreed – as from September 2025
Pay:Grade 7 (pt15 – pt19)
Hours:32.5hrs per week (term time only)
The Governing Body are seeking to appoint a full-time teaching assistant to join our dynamic team.
You will be a strongly motivated, committed and enthusiastic person who enjoys working as part of a team to support students with challenging behaviours.
The Successful candidate should have: -
• Experience of working with students with social, emotional and behavioural
difficulties.
• Ability to work with groups of 8 to 10 students as well as one to one.
• Ability to work and support pupils with ASC.
The successful applicant will be subject to a Powys County Council Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS) and registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) we will also require two satisfactory references before taking up the post.
