Summary

Some of the key responsibilities will be: Maintain own technical competencies and keep up to date with developments, advances with in the specialist area. Have or working towards registration with voluntary and statutory professional bodies, such as RCCP or HCPC. Maintain professional portfolio to evidence professional and practice updating and attendance at mandatory training both annual and 3 yearly, including anaphylaxis, blood gas analyser training. Participate in staff appraisal process and contribute to own personal development plan and objectives. Plans, provides and facilitates training and education of the multi-professional staff, leaners and other junior staff within own speciality. To act as an expert resource for Respiratory Physiology within the Trust. Participate in the specialist national, regional and local conferences as agreed with the Service Manager
