Summary
Trainee Company Director To Enable Business Owners' Retirement.
We are a 27 year established, highly successful, M&E Engineering Company specialising in the assembly, sales, installation, service and repair of sewage & drainage pumping equipment including below ground cesspool-type tanks.
We are looking to recruit a very highly motivated individual to fully learn all aspects of running a business, then ultimately takeover the full day-to-day running and operation of our already highly successful company.
The successful applicant:-
Must be very highly professionally driven towards our corporate image and sales of equipment & services, and strive to increase revenue and profits on a daily basis. This would include the ongoing design, operation and utilisation of our website, e-commerce and/inc EBay advertising. Direct customer contact, face-to-face (in office/scheduled site meetings/door-knocking of lapsed customers/as required), telephone and email communications. Therefore must be very well presented, personable and well spoken with customers at all levels. Must have a very good standard of written and spoken English as well as maths.
Involved also in design, photographing and direct advertising of our products and services. As well as negotiating and purchasing of products from both established and new suppliers. Full involvement in bought-ledger, budgeting and man-management.
Must be very computer literate and confident in developing our on-line/interactive legally-binding service contracts, automated service reminder programme, pre site attendance requirement sheets, T&Cs, technical literature, etc.
Would be trained and work within all aspects of the business - general management, technical design, promotions, web/e-commerce, sales, after-sales, servicing (occasionally working on-site with sewage), daily technical reporting. CAD drawings, purchasing, man-management, Foreman role, HR, wage calcs, bonus calcs, stock control, budgets & profit analysis, vehicle & hours tracking, etc.
Must be over 25 for our vehicle insurances.
OTE £60,000 pa.
