Summary
Exciting opportunity in Ysgol Porth Y Felin’s Playschool Ysgol Feithrin Conwy!
In our recent inspection we received a ‘Good’ across the board and so we would like to continue our success and expand our team with knowledgable and enthusiastic members.
2 positions available for Level 3 Play workers with a level 3 CCLD qualification.
Term time only.
Hours to be discussed but will included the after school club starting in September and working with the breakfast club.
We’d love to get to know you so successful applicants will be invited to work straight away to help get them settled in.
Wage range £13-14 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.

Main duties include:
- Management and implementation of procedures in line with the play school’s and CIW’s regulations and policies
- Ensure activities for children meet their individual needs and are age appropriate
- Work in partnership with parents, carers and teachers as well as the charity’s committee to support the children and the setting’s needs
- Ensuring safeguarding practices are adhered to at all times
Management responsibilities will be required for these roles and will include:
- Administrative duties
- Staff management, deployment and assessment
- Planning of activities in line with curriculum
- Continuous risk assessment and health and safety
- Working with and reporting to our Playschool manager to ensure the success of the setting
Additional desirable skills
- First aid qualification
- Basic food safety
- Basic Welsh skills
- Good digital ability
