Videographer – Asian Events & Live Entertainment
Location: London
Job Type: Freelance / Part-Time / Full-Time (customise as needed)

About the Role
We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Videographer with a passion for capturing the energy, culture, and emotion of Asian events, music festivals, weddings, and live performances. The ideal candidate will be responsible for filming dynamic visuals, telling immersive stories, and working closely with our production and creative teams to deliver engaging video content.
Key Responsibilities
• Film live events, Asian cultural functions, concerts, and festivals with cinematic quality.
• Operate camera gear, gimbals, drones (if licensed), and audio equipment.
• Capture key moments including stage performances, crowd energy, backstage highlights, and artist features.
• Work in both run-and-gun and planned shoot environments with agility.
• Collaborate with event coordinators, stage managers, and lighting techs for ideal shot execution.
• Organise and back up footage post-event for editing team or personal edit workflows.
• Deliver short-form highlight reels, teaser clips, or full-length event films based on project scope.
• Ensure quality footage even in challenging lighting/sound conditions.
Requirements
• Proven experience in filming live events or music festivals.
• Knowledge of camera systems (Sony, Canon, Blackmagic, etc.).
• Strong skills in framing, lighting, and storytelling through visuals.
• Familiarity with Asian cultures, traditions, and music is a big advantage.
• Ability to work nights/weekends and in fast-paced environments.
• Bonus: Experience with video editing (Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve) and sound syncing.
Preferred Qualities
• Creative eye with a passion for event storytelling.
• Energetic, reliable, and self-managed.
• Good interpersonal skills to handle artist interaction or client presence on site.
• Own equipment (or comfortable with hired gear).
