The Operational Clothing Storekeeper position is an essential role within the MRTC Quartermasters Department, responsible for the management and control of Operational clothing and equipment.
Key responsibilities:
Demand stores
Issue/receipt of stores
Back-loading of general stores
Deal with outside agencies for collection of waste disposal
Deputising for Equipment Table storekeeper
Deputy radiation supervisor for the unit
Deputy Unit Administrative Assistant
Main office support and administration tasks including correspondence
Maintaining documentation for stores accounting and auditing
Please note: This post requires a degree of physical ability as you will be expected to lift and carry equipment, boxes of ancillaries and equipment around the store (also load/offload vehicles), and place/retrieve items and boxes from shelving that may be above head height. In accordance with HSE guidance, the recommended maximum manual handling weight that applicants can expect to lift is men (25kg) and women (16kg).
