The role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Property Solicitor to provide legal advice and manage land and property transactions from start to finish. This hybrid role supports Council teams and governance processes on a range of property, trust, and company law matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle property transactions including leases, licences, transfers and charges
Advise officers on land, property, charity, and company law
Draft legal documents and reports
Ensure decisions comply with the Council’s Constitution
Keep up to date with legal developments
What the client is looking for:
Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with at least 6 years' PQE in property law
Strong experience in local government or similar setting
Confident communicator with excellent drafting skills
Able to manage complex caseloads independently
