Summary

Location: This position is a flexible hybrid role, consisting of home-based working and travelling to various locations primarily

The Hub, Plymouth, Portsmouth (Other Locations may be required occassionally)

Pay rate: £15093

Hours: 21.5 (Minimum)

Including some weekend working, and travel to locations across the company(Paid Mileage)

About the Role

As an Early Years Trainer, you’ll deliver a range of face-to-face and virtual workshops including Safeguarding, Positive Behaviour Management, and Paediatric First Aid. You’ll work closely with learners and managers, offering consistent, high-quality training aligned with legislation, internal policies, and our child-centred ethos.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Plan, deliver and assess internal workshops and training sessions
  • Adapt content to meet the needs of learners and stay aligned with policy updates
  • Support the Quality Assurance process through observations and feedback
  • Collaborate with training admin teams to track attendance and workshop impact
  • Work alongside settings and teams on initiatives such as OMEP/ESC audits and coaching

What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities
  • Confident using IT systems
  • Able to prioritise and work independently
  • Must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle

Desirable (or Willing to Work Towards):

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Education or equivalent
  • AET (Award in Education and Training) qualification
  • First Aid at Work (FAW) qualification
  • (Training for AET and FAW will be funded by Tops where needed)
