Hours: 13hrs per week (2 days a week, Monday and Tuesday), 39 weeks per year (term time only)

The Governing Body of Severn Primary School seeks to appoint a highly motivated Admin Support Officer to work in a small, friendly school office. Duties and responsibilities include managing school trips and dinners. A good knowledge of SIMS and Excel are helpful. The post requires a person with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. The successful applicant should be able to work as part of a team and also to act on their own initiative.
The successful candidate will have a positive attitude and be able to respond positively to the confidential nature of the post.
Severn is a large inner city school that supports a very diverse community. There are 52 languages spoken in the school and a high percentage of learners speak English as a second language. The Office Manager must reflect this at the point of contact with the public and the rest of the school community.

This vacancy is suitable for post share.This salary is subject to the Living Wage supplement which brings pay rates up to £12 per hour (scp 2 - 4). This supplement will be reviewed in January 2024 and thereafter annually in April.
