Summary

Are you an experienced and passionate Careers Advisor looking for a rewarding opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our highly successful and inclusive careers team. Our school provides outstanding careers support to students from Year 7 to Year 14, with outcomes ranging from P levels to GCSE grade 9 and beyond. We are proud to achieve 100% across all Gatsby Benchmarks and take an outward-facing approach, supporting both SEND and mainstream schools in developing their careers provision.
At our school, we redefine 'Careers' as 'Preparation for Adulthood', ensuring that every student, regardless of their ability or aspirations, receives the guidance they need. For some, this means progressing to Level 3 study at mainstream colleges and then on to university degrees, while for others, it involves following a 'Learning for Life' pathway, remaining in specialist education settings up to age 25. Our students, many of whom have ASD and additional SEMH needs, have incredible potential, and we are committed to helping them achieve their aspirations—whether that means becoming a vet, a lawyer, or an engineer, or developing the skills needed to live independently and engage with the community.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and adaptable Careers Advisor to develop their skills and broaden their range of experience. You will be someone who thrives in an environment that champions a 'can-do' attitude. If you have the skills, personality, and passion to support our talented yet vulnerable students, we would love to hear from you!
