Science Technician Heathside School Weybridge, Surrey, KT13 8UZ Starting September 2025 3 days per week – 21.5 hrs 38.4 weeks term time only Working Pattern Mon, Wed & Thurs 8am-3:30 pm Salary Grade ELM5 FTE £26,777- £28,686 pa Actual Salary 21.5 hours (3 days): £13,546- £14,512 pa Are you passionate about science and keen to support the next generation of scientists? We are seeking a motivated and organised Science Technician to join our dynamic science faculty at Heathside Weybridge, a forward-thinking secondary school committed to delivering high-quality education. You will support teaching and learning by: • preparing and providing chemicals, equipment and materials for lessons, • servicing laboratories, including cleaning of equipment between lessons • providing timely support to all teaching staff in the Science department • monitoring stock and supplies and undertaking administration tasks • helping ensure health and safety in the Science department The role includes working alongside teachers to support learning in practical lessons and demonstrations.
