The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a genuine desire to work with young people with Autism.
  • Possess a minimum of GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent in Maths and English.
  • Have demonstrable experience in supporting young people on the autistic spectrum, whether in a voluntary or professional capacity.
  • Be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
  • Be resilient, patient, and committed to inclusive practices.
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence and have their own transport, as the school is not easily accessible by public transport.
  • Be eager to learn and develop professionally within a specialist educational environment.
