Based at our state-of-the-art head office and distribution centre on the outskirts of Preston, James Hall & Co. Ltd. have been

About the Role
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic engineer seeking a challenging yet rewarding hands-on role to join our Maintenance
Department at our depot in Preston as well as supporting our four other manufacturing sites in Lancashire.
Here’s What You Can Expect to be Doing
In this varied role, you will be tasked with executing planned maintenance and proficiently identifying and resolving faults on
machinery and systems. Your responsibilities will also extend to-
* Complete all documentation (paper or electronically) required for technical standards, audits, engineering records, machine
history and data, inclusive of stock control.
* Full understanding and compliance with company requirements regarding health and safety, personal and food hygiene.
* Supporting other engineers and working as a team as required in day-to-day operations.
* To respond to callouts and cover breakdowns and emergencies as required, as part of a 24/7 – 365 days a year shared rota.
A Few Things About You
* Conversant with Food Manufacturing, Bakery, and Process Machinery.
* Ability to multitask with strong organizational skills.
* Proficient in reading schematic drawings.
* Flexible and open-minded approach to working times.
* Ideally, a multi-skilled engineer with a minimum apprenticeship in either mechanical or electrical engineering.
* Knowledge and competency working within a manufacturing environment.
* Possess basic IT skills to function Microsoft Office 365.
Requirements for the role
* Level 3 City & Guilds Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
* Valid clean UK driving licence.
