Hours: 5 on 5 off (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM) - includes 4 on 4 off to guarantee 2 weekends off per month

Job Overview:
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Hygiene Operative to join our client's team in Almondsbury, Bristol. This is an industrial cleaning role that requires attention to detail and a proactive approach. The position involves cleaning areas of the factory and ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient working environment. There is potential for training in operational tasks for those demonstrating the right attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate client-provided sweepers to clean designated areas
- Shovel brick debris into skips and manage waste effectively
- Wipe down machinery, handrails, and other surfaces to maintain cleanliness
- Perform deep cleaning of factory areas that require specialised attention
- Follow health and safety protocols while working in an industrial environment
- Ensure cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard and within set timelines
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain the factory's hygiene standards

Requirements:

- Previous experience in industrial cleaning or a similar role is desirable
- Happy to perform manual tasks, such as shovelling and lifting
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as sweepers (training provided if necessary)
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and take on additional operational tasks as part of potential career progression
- Commitment to adhering to health and safety regulations
