We are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Assistant to join a range of supportive nursery settings across South East London.

These settings provide welcoming environments where staff are encouraged to grow and develop through hands-on experience and ongoing training. As an Early Years Assistant, you’ll support children aged from 6 months to 4 years, helping to create a safe, nurturing space where they can thrive.

Whether you’re just starting out or looking to build a career in childcare, this role offers the perfect opportunity to learn on the job and gain valuable skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in delivering age-appropriate activities that support children's development

  
  

• Help create a warm, engaging environment for children to feel safe and happy

  
  

• Work closely with Early Years Practitioners and room leaders to meet children’s individual needs

  
  

• Be open to training in safeguarding, health and safety, and the EYFS curriculum

  
  What you’ll need:

  • A caring and positive approach to working with young children

    
    

  • A willingness to learn and take part in training

    
    

  • Some previous experience with children (formal or informal)

    
    

  • A flexible, team-focused attitude
