MINISTER OF RELIGION
POST: YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULT (YAYA) CHURCH PASTOR
SOC CODE: - Clergy - 2444.
JOB DESCRIPTION / DUTIES:
To pastor and impact the Youth and the Young adult in the Parish positively.
To preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, particularly to the Young adult and emerging leaders by developing preaching and teaching methods that inspire and promote spiritual growth of the younger generation of believers.
To teach and lead the young adults in the language of the Next Gen to enable them to clearly understand the tenets of faith of the RCCG.
To provide pastoral leadership, mentoring and discipleship for all Youth and Young Adult of the church.
To organize after school clubs focusing on Musical Instruments that will help them to perform well not only in their faith but also in their academics.
To maintain a healthy family relationship, strengthen self through personal devotions, prayers, Bible study etc.
To assist the Senior Pastor and the other Pastors in the Parish with other ministerial duties.
To work with the Pastor in charge of Youth and Children Church to build successful relationship that will lead to easy integration.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a graduate of higher institution of learning in any subject.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The post-holder Must be a Born-Again Christian who subscribes to the Tenets of faith of The Redeemed Christian Church of God.
Must have been a member of The Redeemed Christian Church of God for at least 5 years and must have RCCG worker’s certificate of recognition.
Ability to handle sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality and trust.
Must have practical experience in training and teaching Children on how to handle musical instrument.
Ability to easily use Microsoft office.
