Summary

HTA Design LLP is an award winning multi-disciplinary design partnership of specialist teams working collaboratively in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Interior Design, Sustainability, Planning and Communication Design.

We are seeking a meticulous and motivated Bid Manager to support our design teams and work closely with our Partner for New Business. With a proven track record in bid management and coordination across both public and private procurement, you will play a crucial role in securing ambitious projects that align with the future vision of our practice.

Your role will be varied, collaborating with teams responding to a diverse range of briefs from innovative modular housing to biodiverse parkland.

We are looking for a proactive, highly organised, and adaptable individual with experience in procurement and B2B activities in the UK. You will have hands-on experience managing the end-to-end bid process, including EOIs, PQQs, RFPs, and ITTs. To be considered for the role the successful candidate will have:
-Relevant Degree or other education/training certificate.
-Extensive experience in a bid-related role, ideally within a mid-to-large-scale architectural design studio.
-Experience in developing bid strategies, including pricing and resource allocation.
-Expertise in bid management and creative writing for bids.
-Experience in managing the full bid process from decision to outcome.
-Experience in leading coordinated bid campaigns.
-Strong people management and leadership skills, motivating, coaching and mentoring effectively.
-Strong communication and listening skills.
-Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
-Strong, well-judged decision-making skills based on evidence and context.
-Confidence to present work and deliver internal training.
-Ability to navigate, Chair and Control discussions effectively, applying good listening and negotiation skills.
-Strong IT and software skills including: Adobe InDesign, Affinity, MS Office 365: Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook.
