Summary
Hours: Zero-hours, typically to cover on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, and Saturday all day as needed
Salary: £12.30 per hour
Contract: Zero-hours (subject to satisfactory references and an Enhanced DBS check)
We are looking for a motivated individual who will positively and efficiently serve our guests and represent Rock UK in our busy reception area, gym, climbing wall and café. You will at all times appropriately represent Rock UK’s Christian ethos and values to our customers. Duties will include greeting visitors, supporting them with check in and waivers, floor walking and ensuring that health and safety and cleanliness is maintained at all times.
You will need to have good interpersonal skills including an excellent telephone manner with the ability to sound polite and cheerful even under duress. A climbing wall award (Training) Mountain Training and a First Aid Qualification are both essential. Experience of working with climbing walls, gyms and school and youth organisations would be an advantage.
