We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Nottingham to assist with the appointment of a Support Worker, on a 1-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £12.21 - £15.75 per hour

Summary:

As a Support Worker at NCHA, you will play a vital role in promoting independence, safety, and empowerment for individuals with care and support needs. This role especially welcomes candidates with experience in victim services. Working in a person-centred environment, youll help service users to make informed choices and improve their quality of life, while demonstrating the values and principles of the Care and Support department.

Responsibilities:

Support individuals to express their needs, wishes, and make informed decisions.
Co-develop and implement individual support plans and risk assessments, focusing on empowerment and personal goals.
Encourage social inclusion, helping individuals engage in community life, education, work, or leisure.
Comply with infection control and mandatory vaccination protocols.
Safeguard adults and/or children at risk of harm or neglect in line with legal and ethical standards.
Qualifications:

Experience in a care or support setting is advantageous (paid, voluntary, or personal).
Essentials:

Experience working in victim services or trauma-informed environments (e.g. domestic violence support, crisis response, shelter or advocacy work).
Driving License
Female candidates preferred

You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
You should have right to work in U.K
This role requires an Enhanced DBS
