Are you an enthusiastic and talented MFL Teacher who can inspire a love of French and Spanish in young minds?

This full-time, permanent role at a forward-thinking secondary school in the Woodford area offers the perfect platform to deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4. With a strong emphasis on creativity and curiosity, you’ll be joining a school that champions languages and encourages cultural awareness in all learners.

As an MFL Teacher (French & Spanish), you’ll play a key part in helping students broaden their horizons and confidence through effective language learning. The school values innovation and collaboration, offering excellent support and professional development to ensure your continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality French and Spanish lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

Assess student progress and adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs

Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Support pupils in developing confidence in spoken and written language

Work collaboratively within a supportive MFL department

Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities

Engage in regular CPD and school-wide initiatives

Qualifications and Experience

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Degree in French, Spanish, or a related subject

Experience teaching both languages up to KS4

A passion for language teaching and cross-cultural education

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
