Summary

We are looking for Senior Support Workers to join our wonderful team here at The Grange at Bookham supporting adults with learning
disabilities.

We have a small group living community onsite with predominantly female residents with moderate learning and physical disabilities
who require support to live as independently as possible, including support with personal care.

About The Role

By joining The Grange as a Senior Support Worker, you'll instantly become part of our dedicated community, our ethos is person
centred care and support and you'll see and feel this at every level. We are proud that we do not rely heavily on agency staff, so
you'll get to know your colleagues and the people we support quickly. As a Senior Support Worker you'll need to be an expert
communicator, regularly liaising and working closely with others across The Grange, ensuring that everyone is treated with dignity
and respect and that we meet their needs and aspirations. You'll work in partnership with Team Leaders and Positive Behaviour
Champions to ensure we continue to achieve our high standards of person centred care and support.

There is a huge emphasis on team work and you'll play an important part in a busy committed team of support workers by shift
leading, keeping everything running smoothly, holding regular 1:1 and supervision meetings, liaising with parent/carers, and
ensuring we meet standards set and fulfil all our legal compliance responsibilities. You'll be supported by a welcoming team and
provided with an extensive training programme to help you develop your skills and knowledge.

We know the care industry can be tough, but The Grange brings so much joy to not only the people we support but also to the staff
team and wider community too.
