Shifts on offer*: Monday to Sunday Days (8am to 8pm), Nights (8pm to 8am)

About the Role:

Sugarman Health and Wellbeing are looking for Care Assistants to work with our service users in the Watford area. You will be supporting our service user who has Profound Learning Disabilities, as well as an array of clinical needs ranging from Cerebral Palsey, Epilepsy to Ventilation and a Catheter.

Tracheostomy experience is essential for this role. During the recruitment process, we will provide full competency assessment & sign off for care assistants to assist you for these clinical tasks.

As our service user is bed bound and non-weight bearing; they would love to get out into the community, to see his friends at the day Centre, as well as visiting family; therefore, there will be high levels of manual handling, to prevent pressure sores from occurring. You will be assisted alongside another care assistant at all times.

We are looking for care assistants that want a long-term career working with the service user where they can really make a difference to our service users' wellbeing of life. The ideal care assistant to work in this exciting role will be someone who is encouraging, patient and empathetic. These successful candidates should be able to embody these resilient and empathetic attitudes.

Requirements for the Role:

  • A minimum of 6 months of professional UK Care experience.
  • Complex Care experience preferred but not a mandatory need.
  • To provide the correct compliance documents including updated Right to Work and original DBS certificate.
