Summary
A Full-time Nanny is needed by this wonderful family in Islington, London to help them in looking after their charming toddler and school-aged child. They seek an experienced, caring and easygoing candidate who has a basic understanding of child development. They prefer someone who has good communication skills and who is fluent with the English language.
A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, ideally from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm then 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, between 35 to 40 hours .The family is happy to also look at after-school hours only.
Duties include:
Assisting with nappy changes and feeding (both milk and solids)
Supporting and maintaining sleep routines and engaging in age-appropriate - developmental activities
Encouraging early literacy through reading and singing
Bathing, dressing, and keeping the baby’s room clean and organised
Handling school drop-offs and pick-ups, and accompanying the child to extracurricular activities
Helping with homework and supporting educational development
Planning stimulating indoor and outdoor activities suitable for the child’s age
Preparing healthy meals and snacks
Ensuring the child's safety, well-being, and overall happiness
Supervising play and reinforcing positive behaviour and habits
Keeping the child’s bedroom and play areas neat and tidy
