Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence Covering Manual Vehicles

Who Will I Be Supporting?

Step into a role where you will be making a difference in the life of a friendly gentleman in his 40s with learning disabilities and epilepsy. He lives independently and thrives on social interaction and staying active. He loves:

- Socializing: Visiting English Heritage sites, national trust sites, bowling, and cheering at live football matches.

- Staying Active: Enjoying long countryside walks, trips to the beach, hydro sessions, and playing football.

- Hobbies: Watching Blockbusters on his iPad, strumming his guitar, and listening to music. He also enjoys quiet days at home watching movies or baking a cake.

If you are someone who is active, enthusiastic, and able to react quickly and calmly under pressure, you will be a great fit. Building positive relationships with his involved family is essential.

What Will You Be Doing?

- Empowering Independence: Support him to live his life the way he chooses, promoting his choices and helping him achieve his personal goals.

- Daily Living Support: Assist with personal care, encourage healthy eating and cooking, medication, shopping, cleaning, keeping house tidy, and laundry.

- Encouraging Activities: Engage in his various interests, listening to music, ensuring he enjoys an active and fulfilling lifestyle.

Shift Patterns

- Day Shifts: 8am - 3pm

- Day Shifts: 3pm - 10pm

- Long Day Shifts: 8am - 10pm

Rotas are provided in advance to ensure a healthy work-life balance.
