Role Overview:
As a Locks Technician, you'll provide building fabric maintenance support, including planned and reactive maintenance for locking and physical security tasks. You'll also mentor prisoner working groups, ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
-Perform PPM, reactive, and breakdown maintenance.
-Ensure equipment is maintained efficiently and safely.
-Mentor and train prisoner working groups.
-Address client concerns and develop site engineering knowledge.
-Maintain SHE standards and comply with COSHH requirements.
-Participate in duty standby/call-out rosters and emergency response teams.
-Complete documentation accurately and troubleshoot site issues.
Requirements:
-Basic to intermediate IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
-Completed apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
-IOSH or equivalent certification.
-Level 3 Diploma for Commercial Locksmiths and Property Security.
-Level 3 multi-skilled engineering qualifications.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-High moral standards and integrity.
