Role as a STEM Teaching Assistant
As a STEM Teaching Assistant, you’ll support pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4, particularly in maths and the sciences. Working with subject specialists, you’ll help students overcome learning barriers, extend high-achievers, and gain valuable insight into classroom practice.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Delivering targeted support in maths and/or science lessons
• Working 1:1 or in small groups to consolidate understanding

• Encouraging STEM engagement and building academic confidence
• Contributing to intervention planning and learning reviews
