This role plays a vital role in supporting participants on Skills Bootcamp programmes to develop the skills, confidence, and experience needed to progress into sustained employment, apprenticeships, or further training. These intensive, sector-specific programmes are designed to address local labour market needs and provide fast-track training aligned to employer vacancies. The post holder will deliver personalised one-to-one coaching, targeted employability workshops, and proactive employer engagement to source high-quality work placements, guaranteed interviews, and job outcomes. The role is important in ensuring that participants complete the boot-camp successfully and are fully prepared to enter or progress in the workplace, contributing to programme performance targets and fulfilling funding requirements.

Key Responsibilities and Key Performance Indicators

- Deliver tailored one-to-one coaching, action planning and mentoring
- Facilitate high-quality group sessions/workshops on employability topics
- Actively source, broker and maintain employer relationships to secure meaningful work placements, job trials and employment opportunities
- Carry out effective initial assessments, skills diagnostics and needs analyses to identify participant goals, support needs and progression pathways
- Monitor participant progress against agreed action plans
- Support participants to access external support services where appropriate
- Match participants to suitable vacancies, support them through the application process, to prepare for interview and induction
- Work collaboratively with tutors, keyworkers and referral agencies
- Organise and supervise employer visits, careers talks, job fairs and placement review meetings
- Maintain up-to-date labour market knowledge
- Ensure all activity is compliant with contractual obligations, safeguarding standards and GDPR requirements
- Perform any additional requests in line with the key responsibilities of this role

Key Performance Indicators
- Number and percentage of participants achieving job outcomes or positive destinations
- Volume of high-quality work placements secured and completed
-Retention and attendance rates of participants
- Employer satisfaction scores
- Timeliness and accuracy of paperwork and records on CRM
- Participant feedback and satisfaction levels
- Number of employer engagement activities and new employer relationships secured
- Achievement of programme-specific contractual targets (e.g. job entries, sustained outcomes, progressions)

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Qualifications and specific training
- Full NVQ Level 2 in customer service, business administration, accounting, or IT (essential)
- GCSE A-C (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics (essential)
-Level 2 IT Qualification, such as ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) (essential)
- Level 3 Information, Advice and Guidance qualification (desirable)
- Level 3 PTLLS/AET qualification or equivalent (desirable)
- First Aid at Work Certificate (desirable)
- IOSH Health and Safety Qualification (desirable)

Experience
- Delivering employability support or coaching to adults or young people (essential)
- Employer engagement and securing work placements or vacancies (essential)
- Working with individuals facing multiple or complex barriers (essential)
- Working to performance targets within a funded programme (essential)
- Using a CRM or learner management system to record activity (desirable)
- Knowledge of the local labour market within Early Years and Health and Social Care (desirable)

Knowledge
- Barriers to learning and employment (essential)
- How to support customer and promote independence (essential)
- Support strategies for various customer specific needs (essential)
- Awareness of safeguarding and Prevent responsibilities (essential)
- Understanding of DWP or ESFA/ASF funded provision and compliance (desirable)

- Full Driving licence with access to a car with Business Insurance
