Summary

Do you have a few hours each week to positively impact someone's life?
We are currently seeking a Relief British Sign Language (BSL) Communicator Guide/Community Support Worker to join our fantastic team to take on this rewarding opportunity.

This is a Relief role with various hours. We work flexibly across the week with hours to suit your needs. Sense is offering you an hourly rate of £13.49.

In this role, you will support an individual who is Deaf based in the West Midlands. You will support them in engaging in activities locally and also a holiday abroad (Deafblind international holiday) and create meaningful experiences. Your responsibilities may include accompanying them on food shopping trips, attending medical appointments, and participating in social and leisure activities such as bowling, swimming, and visiting the park.

Requirements for this role:
A BSL Level 3 qualification or an equivalent to effectively communicate through BSL and hands-on signing.
A full UK driving license and business insurance and must be willing to drive your own vehicle (Mileage paid 0.45 pence per mile).
Experience in Care and/or being confident working in a lone working setting.
