How you'll make a difference
You will support the production of financial forecasts for Regulatory and Balance Sheet Management activities for the Society. This includes analysing data to provide insights that inform strategic thinking, as well as utilising/analysing the Society's existing models to support decision making.
We're on a transformation journey and we're always looking for ways to improve processes and become more efficient, so we're looking for someone open to change and with a continuous improvement mindset.
What will you bring to the role?
-Part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
-Highly numerate with advanced Excel skills
-Ideally experience with Power Query and Power BI
-Strong analytical skills and a high attention to detail
-Self-motivator with good planning and organisational skills
-Desire to improve processes and problem solving experience
-Strong communicator with the ability to translate financial analysis for non-technical stakeholders
