Summary

Owen Payne Care are working with a highly experienced family run company to recruit for two deputy managers in their Childrens Home in either the Hall Green and Kings Norton area!

Working Monday-Friday 9am-5pm the ideal candidate would need to be flexible should the situation arise with an annual salary of between £32,000 and £34,000.

Main Duties include:

• To ensure that the content and ethos of the statement of Purpose.
• To work alongside staff on shift to monitor practice, develop staff skills and build and maintain relationships with young people.
• To deputise for the Registered Manager in their absence of Annual Leave or sickness or other short- or long-term absence, attending meetings including Registered Manager meetings.
• To complete on calls in line with the on-call rota.
• To promote the welfare and development of the young people in our care.
• To promote and maintain an environment of anti-discriminatory practice and equality of opportunity for staff and young people in accordance with Meadows care Policies and Procedures.
• To work with the Registered Manager to devise, implement and review a Meadows Care Plan that reflects and meets the needs of the young person.

Requirements:

• Hold Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care in Residential Care with children and young people or an equivalent qualification (Essential)
• Experience of supervising staff and worked within the residential sector for at least 2 years (Essential)
• Driving Licence (Desirable)
