Summary
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistant to lead and support care staff in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents. This role involves both hands-on care and supervisory responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care and support to residents, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
Administer medication in line with policies and training.
Supervise and mentor junior care staff, providing guidance and support.
Assist with care planning, record keeping, and communication with families and healthcare professionals.
Respond to emergencies and ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents.
Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards it).
Previous experience in a care setting, ideally in a senior or supervisory role.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Compassionate, patient, and committed to high standards of care.
Salary and Benefits
Monday - Friday £13.80 & weekend £15.18 + overtime is paid at £1.00 extra per hour
Attendance bonus + 50p per hour if all shifts are attended each month - T&C's apply
