Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Plasterer to join our Redcar Voids & Repairs team. The role will involve carrying out planned and reactive maintenance work, including all plastering aspects. This will range from general small repairs to tiling, DPC tanking and pointing work. Your main duties will include fully plastering kitchens and bathrooms to a high standard, within a timely manner.

To be successful in this role you:

Will need to have in-depth knowledge of repairs and maintenance of buildings - in relation to plastering work
Will need a relevant NVQ level 2 qualification or equivalent together with experience within the plastering trade
Must be fully competent in health and safety, with safe systems of work
Will need to be able to multi-skill - this is desirable but not essential
Must have a full UK driving licence (if you have a disability, we will explore reasonable adjustments with you).

This is an extremely varied role which requires a self-starter who can work alone or in a team. You must be flexible, willing to learn, and have the ability to grow within a developing and progressive organisation. As part of this role, you may need to mentor an apprentice, volunteer, or work experience placement.

As part of this role, you may be eligible for allowances including an enhanced tool allowance, multiskilling allowance and callout payments, which will be discussed if you are invited to an interview.
